What is Naturopathy

Naturopathy is a philosophy of life and an approach to living. It is the belief in living as close to nature as possible. This includes: 

  • Drinking pure, clean water

  • Eating an abundance of fresh fruit, vegetables, nuts seeds and other food products derived from natural sources only.

  • Breathing fresh clean air

  • Moving the body through exercise. This helps to move around lymphatic tissue ( gets rid of systemic waste) in the body.

  • You must spend time in an ecologically clean environment.

  • You must have a nurturing spiritual belief system.

  • We should strive to be stress free and emotionally sound

When we implement these basic tenets of good health, we have embraced the Naturopathic philosophy..

This philosophy is not new, but there is a resurgence of interest. Many people who have encountered health problems and found no lasting solutions from traditional western medicine, turn to this approach in an effort to improve their current health status.  This site is designed to educate you and introduce you to concepts and products that will be beneficial and so that can take charge of your own health.

I believe that western medicine has it's place. They are excellent in emergency situations, it is chronic diseases that have been somewhat of a challenge. We can't build health with drugs.
